Left out

Toby was feeling kind of left out when the boys had on their handsome tuxedos so Toby decided to put on his "tuxedo."  He is just as handsome.

If anything has to do with the hose Emmeric is allll over it.  So, when I needed to wash and spray the deck chairs and table I knew he would be more than willing to help.

Happy 27th Birthday to Me!

Today is my 27th birthday, I had a wonderful day with my amazing boys.  It started off with Ed staying home from work, making breakfast and a small trip to Target for matchbox cars and frappicinos.  Home to find beautiful flowers on my back porch.  We got to finish a Tv series we started during nap time, then we went to the mall and out to eat.  It was a great day just to spend it with my family.  The only thing that could have made it better was to have my whole family there to celebrate.

Toby borrowed Emmeric's new headphones for preschool to rock out yesterday.  Someday he might be an awesome DJ.  

Happy early Birthday to me.

Since they were bringing the piano anyways Steve & Sherri surprised me with a mini-birthday party, including chocolate pie and presents.  It was great.  Sarah and them got me a new bread-maker, I'm really excited to try it out.  Thanks for coming down last night and helping me celebrate my birthday!

27 candles, it was beautiful!

New Piano

As many of you remember we had a piano at the old house.  We got it for free but it didn't make the trip down to Des Moines with us, since nobody really played it yet, Sarah was looking for one, etc. we let her have it.  But when a new piano became known to us we took it and last night Steve & Sherri made the drive down in their truck with no A.C. and brought it to us.  It is a beautiful piano with great sound. I'm excited to use it a little and Emmeric is especially happy to have it at our home.    

4 year old funnies...

Funny Story:  We pretty much have two of everything in our house because like twins Emmeric and Max usually want the same thing.  Yesterday, Emmeric had something that Max wanted, I can't even remember what it was but Max kept asking Emmeric for it and Emmeric of course kept telling him no.  But then the last time Max asked Emmeric said "knock, Knock" Max replied "Who's there?" and Emmeric said "NO."  I laughed so hard when he did that and that was the last time Max asked him.  Problem solved.

Stuck...

There is not a night where Ed or I don't have to tell Max to sit down in his chair at supper.  It finally happened last night.  He fell. He fell and got stuck.  He dragged the chair about 2 feet before he asked for someone to lift it off of him.
