HOCO 2026

These two headed off to the dance this Saturday with their buddies.  Although they got ready at different times they did manage to send me a selfie.  They both said they had a great time and danced the night away!  Love the men they are growing up to be.

 Toby did track again this year.  He worked really hard and enjoyed the track season.  He pushed himself the last few meets and PR in a lot of his runs.  He enjoys hanging out with his buddies and thinks he will continue track in high school.

Party

 Toby asked to have a party with some friends this year.  Ed took him and 6 buddies to get air and out for ice cream.  The boys had a good time and Toby was grateful for the party. 

Toby is 14

 Toby turned 14 on Wednesday!  Toby you are a gentle, affectionate and attentive teenager.  You care a lot about other people. You love playing all the sports but only with all your friends.  You love to be home with your family. You enjoy video games, reading, Coke classic, any candy, cookie or sugar-y treat.  

Continue to love Jesus big, Toby. Care for others, be honest and try as many things as you can.  We love you so much and can't wait to see how much you grow in so many ways this year.  

Middle School Choir

 Toby spent the day at Jesup with the NICL conference middle school choir.  He learned 3 new songs with over 200 other middle school students.  He has a nice voice and we are glad he is out for choir this year. 

Culture Fair

7th grade had their culture fair.  Toby's group did a great job of presenting Chile and making delicious alfajores cookies.

Grandpa Dan took Toby to get a new glove for baseball.  

 

Toby and Track

Toby tried out track for the first time this year.  He agrees it is very tiring and a lot of work, but each meet he has improved.  He is mostly running 400 and 800.  He enjoys being with the team and is getting stronger.  He even got to complete against Solomon for one race.

Birthday Gift

Toby's Godfather, Sam came up last weekend to spend some time with Toby and gift him a Henry 22 shotgun.  He was so surprised and excited.  He has practiced shooting and something he will hopefully use often. 

 

Toby is a Teenager

Toby is 13!  He rushed into the world 13 years ago and has been on the move every since.  He is always wanting to do anything and everything.  Loves sports and reading, able to hang out and make friends anywhere.  Loves Jesus and serving others and is always looking for hugs and snuggles. 

 Toby, we love you so much and can't wait to see how God is going to use you for His glory.  Keep shining your light, being kind and enjoying life.  

 

7th grade football

Toby finished 7th grade football last week.  It was a growing year, he battled a lot of foot pain, started a new position and gained some confidence.  He is a great team player and is always there for his teammates. 

 

Toby turned 12

Sunday was Toby's 12th birthday!  He had a great day but super low key.  Of course pancakes, lunch at Noodles & co. then a mini-super bowl party at home with the family.  

Toby you are affectionate and caring, super helpful and a bit crazy!  You love any sport that you can play with anyone who will play with you.  You're a caring friend and brother.  We love you so much and can't wait to see how God uses you in the future!
