Tuesday

Tuesday, we ported in Nassau, Bahamas.  the majority of people got off the ship so it was a lot less crowded and we could do more exploring.  We spent the majority of the morning at the pools.  A few of the boys played laser tag and everyone mini-golfed at one point or another.  The water was so blue and clear in Nassau it was relaxing just to watch it.  In the afternoon our family got off the boat and walked around.  We did a few shops and then hit the beach.  The water felt so good because it is so hot and humid. The teens found the pool table and rarely left it in the evenings.   We did end up losing Toby for about an hour that night.  He got separated from Emmeric and ended up going to guest services where we picked him up.

Monday

Monday, we boarded the cruise about noon and headed right for lunch.  I couldn't believe how much food was available every single day.  We then hit the pools, Solomon, Evelyn and Toby tried out the flow rider.  They all did amazing.  The rest of the kids swam like little fish.  We watched the boat take off from the port and boy was it hot.  After supper we went to the silent disco party.  That was a blast.  We explored the ship, kids went to Adventure Ocean (kids hang out area).  The rooms were small but we were hardly in them so it didn't matter.   Day one was a success!

Summer: Week 10

Week ten was spent on the ocean in South Beach and out in the Caribbean on the cruise.   Sunday we loaded the big van and headed to South Beach with some of the family.  This was the first time our kids have ever been in an ocean.  They LOVED it. Everyone jumped right in and had no fear when it came to the waves.  Emmeric loved digging up shells and diving below the water.  The littles rode some waves, buried themselves and the afternoon ended with ice cream.
