Halloween 2022 brought out Nibbles the book monster, a gumball machine and a baseball player. Later Emmeric decided to dress up as "Uncle Andy". Kids had a great night getting all the treats!

Decorah
Kids got out early on Friday so we headed to Decorah with Grandma and Grandpa Pavelec and Sarah. We got Impact coffee, walked downtown, explored Dunning Springs and ate Mabe's. It was a beautiful day and fun to hang out with family.
Welcome Home Ed!
Ed came home last Thursday and it was the best. I surprised the kids. I picked him up from the Waterloo airport and brought him home where all the kids were waiting. It was the best to see their smiles and reactions. Made my heart so happy. The best was being able to pray all together and thank God for his safe return and a complete family. Friday-Sunday we spent time surprising family members, church members and anyone we happened to run into. We are so glad he is home for good.

Final Football Game
Toby finished his first year of tackle football. He learned a lot this season. He was so nervous and anxious to get hit and tackled but by the end felt more confident. He scored 2 touchdowns during the season and the team won their final game in Vinton. I enjoy seeing Toby's enthusiasm for the game and his improvements. Hoping he goes out again next fall! #26 with yellow socks!

Father-Daughter Dance
Joanna asked me to take her to the Father-Daughter dance on Sunday night. She even wanted to wear matching dresses. It was a lot of fun seeing all the girls dancing and singing. She was worried I wouldn't have anyone to talk to because it was all dads but I didn't mind. It was great to go and spend time dancing with my girl!
Piano Recital
Joanna gave a nice piano recital Friday evening for all of us. She sounds very nice and has been working hard on her songs.
Roman-Football
Roman did flag football for the first time this year. He loved being a part of the team and learning about the game. He even scored a couple touch downs. The team was full of shennigans but it was fun to watch!
