Monday, we celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary. The night before we went to diner and stayed a night at a hotel. The kids came the following morning to swim. We then headed home and spent the rest of the day there. 13 doesn't seem to monumental but honestly each year is worth celebrating. Each day is a choice and I think over the last year we have built a stronger relationship and grown in our faith.

Roman is 5
Our Roman turned 5 on Friday! He was so excited for his big day he had been asking Alexa how many days since February. He started celebrating Thursday by bringing birthday treats to school. Eating birthday supper at McDonalds. Then Friday morning we had traditional pancakes and a few presents from Mom & Dad. Friday night, Sarah and Grandpa & Grandma Pavelec came over for dinner, ice cream and presents. He loved everyone of them. Saturday morning, his other Aunt, Uncles and cousins came for pizza and play time. We continued by seeing Grandma & Grandpa Schmitz at their house Saturday afternoon. He got so many fun things and just loved to see all of his family.
Roman you are the sweetest, from your hugs, kisses and snuggles but you are also very caring, a great sharer, super funny and full of energy. You love lots of things but probably riding your bike, playing Minecraft like the big kids, eating treats and reading books are your favorite. You bring us so much joy and we all love you so much. I know God loves all your questions about HIM as well as watching you grow. Happy 5th Birthday, Roman!
Matchy Matchy
When your daughter still says she will dress like you, you get the matching sweatshirts and feel adorable twinning with your girl!
By the Fence
Monday through Thursday when I picked up Roman at 11:30 from preschool we would drive by the big school. We were lucky enough that it was both Joanna and Toby's recess time. It was so much fun to see the kids outside playing with each other. While I rarely waved or talked to Toby (he was too busy playing with the guys), Joanna & usually her friend Stone were almost always standing by the fence waiting to say hi to me. Her friends would yell her name if she wasn't there. She would show me funny things with her friends, tell me how the morning was or ask to have a playdate with someone. I will miss seeing her each day running around with her friends and having fun.
Last Day of School
Roman had his last day of Preschool on Thursday. He also got to bring treats because it was his birthday the next day. He has loved Ms. Heather and learned so many new things. He is so excited to be at the big school this fall. The rest of the kids finished Friday! I know that everyone is ready for the freedom of summer. The kids did amazing this year. We made it the whole year with in person learning. They continued to be challenged at school and will for sure miss their friends and teachers. Bring on summer!

Preschool Graduation
Roman had his preschool graduation Wednesday night. He looked so cute in his cap and gown. After a few pictures with his diploma he came home with chalk and cookies. This happy boy is off to Kindergarten in the fall.
6th grade band
Monday, Max had his last 6th grade band concert. They sounded really good. It has been fun to see him grow in his musical abilities. He plans to continue and looks forward to jazz band.
Mother's Day
For Mother's Day not only did I get some amazing cards but the kids also gave me 30 minutes of playing with each other with no fighting while Eddie was gone at drill. It was wonderful.

This week the 3 finished up spring soccer. They had a lot of fun on their teams, everyone scored multiple goals and they learned some new skills.
