Sunday it was ugly sweater day at church. That night we also got together and went caroling at some of our church families home. It was a really fun time and hopefully brought joy to the houses we went.

December catch up
We had our first reason snow a few weekends ago. The kids had so much fun with the sleds, shoveling and just being outside. We also decorated mini gingerbread houses that didn't last a day before all the kids ate them. We celebrated Grandma Nancy's birthday and Toby took a picture of the flash cubes.
St. Nicholas Day
St. Nicholas day has came and went. Everyone got candy in their shoes along with a new robe for Roman, slippers for Joanna and the big 3 got wallets for all their money.

Christmas Tree 2020
Our Christmas Tree is up and it is beautiful. It took awhile to find the perfect one but we did. The kids had fun walking around and playing on the ice at the tree farm. Following tradition Joanna and Dad put the star on top.
Decorah day trip
A few Fridays a go we headed with Sarah up to Decorah. We stopped downtown for Impact Coffee, visited some shops and then headed out to walk a trail, see the eagles nest and just be together. Before we headed home we ate at Toppling Goliath and saw two light shows, one in Decorah and another in New Hampton.

Carving pumpkins 2020
We finally got around to carving our pumpkins. The kids did a great job of scraping and scooping and 3 even carved their own. Roman got to carve his with Grandma & Grandpa Pavelec which was extra fun for him. I think (as always) they turned out adorable.
