Summer Week 8

Week 8, time is just going to fast now.  This week we did some preparing for school to start including new supplies, new shoes, new clothes and a lot of paper work.  Toby spent the night at Grandma & Grandpa Pavelec Sunday which included a trip to a Buck's game on Monday.  We went swimming, hung out at Jesup Gym and watched a movie on the barn.  Ed & I saw the Intentional Space Station in the sky one night (it was going so fast). We saw Eddie at work where the kids got a quick work-out in. We went to Barnes and Noble and spent so much time checking out toys and books.  Friday night the 4 bigs stayed with Grandparents Pavelec and attended their church VBS.  Roman and I hung out because Ed had drill.  They all had fun, quality time.  Saturday night, we all attended the theater to watch Martin in his debut play "School of Rock."  Everyone agreed he did an amazing job and it was so fun to see an all kids cast.

4-H Fair 2019

4-H Fair was last week and as always we had a blast.  All the boys did awesome on their projects receiving all blues/participation ribbons.  We enjoyed the food stand, carnival, calf show, fun night, STEM fair, workshops, carpet-ball and just hanging out with our fair family.  Highlights included Joanna winning 1st and Emmeric 2nd (age group) in the pedal tractor pull, getting super dirty, seeing our cousins everyday, balloon pop, gunny sack race and having fun together.  Fair is something I looked forward to every year and I think our kids do also!

Summer Week 7

Week 7 was spent primarily at 4-H fair.  Monday, the boys finished their last projects and goals and on Tuesday had them judged at fair.  Thursday, we celebrated Frankie's birthday with a trip to the jumping pillow and dinner/cake at our house.  Friday, was my birthday where I got to have lunch with Sherri and Sarah.  See almost all my family, and have supper with Eddie (at home).  Saturday, we watched Solomon and Oliver at the calf show, got delicious coffee and came back for family fun night at fair.  Sunday, we went to Westendorf reunion in Readlyn where the kids played hard at the playground and splash pad and we saw family we  only see annually.  Hoping for a less busy  next week as we are on the downhill slope of summer.
