Toby is 9 months

Toby turned 9 months on Sunday!  He has certainly grown in just 3 months.  He can full fledge crawl up on all fours and really fast.  He can climb up stairs and step stools.  He can pull up on things and let go for a second.  He has 6 BIG chompers, beautiful redish hair and blue eyes.  He is by far the happiest baby.  He wants to be whereever his brothers are, he adores his Dad constantly saying "Dada" and crawls up to Mommy for a quick snuggle and suck of the thumb.  He defintely has a routine which includes bedtime at 630.  As I mentioned he's a thumb sucker, he crazy ticklish and for the most part easy going.  Everyone loves him and we cannot wait to see what the next 3 months have in store before he turns ONE.  Love you Toby baby.
So Happy!

Wisconsin Dells 2012

We made it to the Dells.  After some long traveling we made it,  to swim, eat and just relax as a family.  We went to the pool at least twice a day as well as the indoor play area, coffee houses and arcades.  We had so much fun in the wave pool, going down slides, sitting in the hot tub, floating on the lazy river and just splashing around. We had great meals together in the room and fun times just being silly.  We all love going to the Dells.
The big boys favorite is the hot tub.
Emmeric probably went down this slide 15 times in a row.
Toby & I on the swing.  Between naps Toby got some quality pool time in.
Papa and Max in the Lazy River.  They all take their turn with Papa just floating.
The boys took all the pillows from each room on multiple occasions and made "forts."  They thought it was also fun to start pillow fights.

The House on the Rock

The last week in October we, along with Steve, Sherri and Sarah went to Wisconsin to mostly play at the Dells but on the way up we stopped at the House on the Rock.  It was really interesting and slightly weird.  It was created by Alex Jordan.  There are 14 rooms in the original structure which is really like a house, complete with a kitchen, sitting rooms, etc.  Then there are three separate buildings which contain these HUGE collections of stuff.  Including, the biggest carousel, collections of guns, trains, stain glass, dolls, miniature houses, beer steins, cars, kites, model boats, and just about anything else you could think of.  It also has outside garden displays   It was fun to walk around and try to take in everything we could.  Everywhere you looked you saw something new.
A view of the pagoda at the House on the Rock.
A mini orchestra that plays on its own.
One of the many stain glass windows, tables and lamps they had inside the house on the rock.
Toby & I inside the tree.
Watching a Huge instrument thing play.  Behind us is a steam tractor.

The boys

Toby climbed up the ladder to see what he could see.
Emmeric in the new witch's hat.
10:30 PM I found Max asleep in the hallway all covered up.

Window marker drawings

The boys got Window Markers for Halloween so Max tried them out and made a fantastic drawing of a sun, clouds, blue sky, grass and a fish.

Max took this picture of his picture.  :)

Happy Halloween 2012

We were gone for Halloween but we still had the opportunity to put our costumes on and show them off a few times.  Sometimes it was a struggle to get them on but for the most part they like to dress up.

Eyes in the Night

Sunday Steve & Sherri came down to help with a few projects and take us to the Blank Park Zoo for "Eyes in the Night" fun.  We started by putting up a baby gate on the stairs.  Toby fell down them last week so I knew we had to have something permanent really soon.  Steve built one for us and installed it.  Then the Zoo was having trick or treating in the zoo.  It was really fun to walk through the zoo, collect candy and just hang out together.  Toby is a banana (it's a tradition), Max is a ghost and Emmeric is R2-D2.

I can even fit in the R2-D2 costume.

New Trees

Uncle Andy brought over two oak trees for us to plant in our backyard.  Friday he came over and brought everything we needed to get them in the ground.
 Digging the holes first.
Putting that little tree in the ground.
Uncle Andy & Max after they covered the tree roots and taped the tree to the bamboo stick.
Daddy bringing over the mulch to add around the trees.  Then we put a cage around them so they wouldn't get eaten by the bunnies.  Someday a long time from now they will be amazing and beautiful oak trees.

Gobble Gobble

A little early for Thanksgiving but it was too cute not to post.
And yes he did puke a little right before the picture.  :)

Pumpkin Carving

Last week we carved our pumpkins from Uncle Andy.  It was a messy experience but everyone enjoyed themselves.
Whole family getting into it.  I was the only one who was brave enough to stick my hand in the pumpkin and get all the goop out.
Max and I scooping and carving.
Doing what babies do best, find messes.
Max's happy Pumpkin with "lots" of teeth.  Toby's big winking pumpkin and Emmeric's "angry" pumpkin.
