Bowling with the Pavelec's

 We headed to the bowling alley for some late valentines day fun with the Pavelec side. We had some strikes, some gutter balls but mostly a lot of fun. 

UNI ROTC Military Ball

Ed & I attended the UNI ROTC Military Ball on Saturday night.  It was fun to get dressed up for the night.  We had the opportunity to also meet Major General Hultman who is 98 year veteran and has done amazing things within the military and the community. 

 

Valentine's Day

 We had a wonderful Valentine's day.  Roman and Joanna had fun at their parties and our small group couples went out for supper.  Love all our people.  

Toby turned 12

Sunday was Toby's 12th birthday!  He had a great day but super low key.  Of course pancakes, lunch at Noodles & co. then a mini-super bowl party at home with the family.  

Toby you are affectionate and caring, super helpful and a bit crazy!  You love any sport that you can play with anyone who will play with you.  You're a caring friend and brother.  We love you so much and can't wait to see how God uses you in the future!

 

Sweet 16!

 Emmeric is 16.  He has grown so much and has over come so many things in just 16 years.  He is growing and maturing and we love him so much! 

Emmeric loves board games, video games, model trains, pizza and shrimp, being with his family and sitting by the fire reading.  We pray God will use you in many ways to glorify Him in the years to come.  Love you, Emmeric!

Hat Day

For the 100th day of school Roman needed a hat.  I let him pick one off Amazon and he chose a banana!  It's fantastic.

 

Snow day

Snow day yesterday called for fort making, snowman building, 4-wheeler sledding and just time in the snow! 

Denver Band

The Denver band had the privilege to play Sunday at the mens UNI basketball game.  It was an awesome opportunity and they sounded great.  We all went to the game and it was fun to watch the Panthers and enjoy the atmosphere.   

Archery

Max is competing again in archery.  He is enjoying the invitationals and is getting better with practice.  

 

So long 2023

 

We rang in 2023 at home.  I love my life and am looking forward to all that 2024 is going to bring.
