Homecoming

Max went to the homecoming dance a few weeks ago with some friends.  He said he spent the whole time dancing and having fun.  Glad he is making the most of high school.

 

Roman & football

Roman finished fall football.  He had a blast, learned a ton, had a few touchdowns.

 

Sunflower Field

 Last week my mom, Joanna and I drove to Belle Plaine to see this amazing sunflower field.  It was 5 acres of beautiful yellow sunflowers.  

Toby got baptized

 Toby was baptized in the Cedar River on Sunday.  He wanted to tell others he was going to follow Jesus.  Ed was able to baptize him.  It was a special morning!

Monday at the Cabin

 While Joanna had her friend party at home Ed took the boys to the cabin.  They had the best time wading, swimming, digging and just being together.  

Joanna is 10

 Joanna turned 10 and we did some much celebrating over the weekend.  Sunday afternoon we went to Village Inn for crepes, Sunday night we had the grandparents over for walking tacos.  She always loves opening presents and feeling all the love from family. Monday, she was able to have 8 friends come over to craft, swim and have brownies.  It made her day to just hang out with her friends.  And she got some fun gifts.  Tuesday, we made traditional pancakes for breakfast, she brought treats to school and had her favorite chicken for supper.

Joanna you are so loved.  You are super funny, very kind, willing to try new things, a bit weird  but also sensitive.  We can't believe you are 10.  God has big things in store for you, listen to Him and continue to love others BIG!
