Winter Olympics

In honor of the Winter Olympics our friends, the Shaffers hosted some games at their house.  It was a blast, we had fun representing Team USA and even winning a few "medals".

 

Toby is 10

Toby is 10, double digits, two hands.  We celebrated with birthday pancakes.  He also had his Valentine party at school.  He picked Hy-Vee Chinese for supper complete with brownies.  

Toby you are sweet and always there to give a hug or kiss.  You love sports, no matter what it is as well video games and books.  You are smart and love to sing. We love you Toby, enjoy year ten.

 

Emmeric is 14

 I cannot believe Emmeric is 14.  This year he looks older and has been acting older.  He is still fun-loving and easy-going.  Emmeric loves to play games, build trains, sit by the fire, eat pizza and learn new things. He has an infectious smile and spirited nature.  

We celebrated with pancakes, popping balloons for money, his favorite pizza and he even got sang to 5 times at school.  We ended with cake with our small group!

Emmeric, we hope you grow in your faith and maturity this year.  We love you so much and know you will do amazing things.  

Pool Time

These kids love the pool and get along best when water is involved.  

 

Charlie's Birthday

Sunday, we headed to Des Moines and celebrated Charlie's 1st birthday.  It was fun to watch him open presents and eat cake. As a bonus we were able to go ice skating.  

 

12 weeks

We did it!  We made a full sheet of X's.  That is 84 days, 12 weeks.  Seems like a long time but we know we have a lot more to go.  Doesn't get easier...
