Las Vegas 3

 Sunday we woke up and hit the Las Vegas sign.  It was not busy then grabbed some more delicious local coffee and headed to Red Rock Canyon.  It was really pretty and just a contrast to the landscape of Iowa.  We had fun driving, walking off the trails and exploring.  We grabbed lunch at Secret Pizza and then headed back to the hotel for some hot tubbing.  That night we decided to stay in, doordash some amazing Italian and watch a movie.  We needed to be up early and at the airport by 6 AM.  Although the trip was fast it was so wonderful to see and spend time with each other. 

Las Vegas 2

Saturday, we headed out to the Hoover Dam after we got some delicious coffee.  The dam was incredible.  The infrastructure of it all was amazing.  We at late lunch at Hash House a Go Go.  It was seriously delicious.  That night we walked the strip and rode on the High Roller Observation Wheel.  It gives you a 360 degree look at the city inside of these HUGE pods.  The whole ride which was over 550 feet tall took over 28 minutes to ride.  

 

Las Vegas 1

After nine weeks, Ed drove and I flew and we met in Las Vegas.  It was so, so, so great to see each other in person again.  Friday afternoon and evening we walked the strip, ate delicious Japanese, saw the Bellagio fountains, lost $25 bucks at the casino and just couldn't stop smiling.

 

Happy New Year 2022

 Quiet night at home was the perfect way to ring in this new year.  

Winter Break

We had a fun Winter break.  Not only did we celebrate lots of Christmas' we did a lot of fun things.  We went swimming at the sportsplex with our cousins, saw the new Spiderman movie. Played with Frankie, ate out a lot. Toby had a basketball tournament, we visited Great-Grandma Jackie, had horse riding and crafting at a friend house, puzzles and snow play, went to Ninja/U and celebrated the New Year.
