Toby is 6!

Our middle child turned 6 yesterday.  He was so excited for his special day. He was able to celebrate multiple times over the weekend with family and presents. 
Toby you are ama amazing kid.  You are a really great snuggler, a great helper to Mom and Dad.  You're super loud and super smart.  You love to be with your family, read books, and do any type of craft.  You are becoming such a big kid who has a heart for Jesus and a love of others.  We can't wait to see you continue growing and becoming even more amazing.  Love you, Tobs!

Day off at the Museum

The kids had the day off school and it was Emmeric's birthday so we picked up Grandma Nancy and headed to Coralville to the Children's Museum.  The kids love that place and it was so much fun.  They even got to ride the mall carousel for free.  It was a really fun day.

Random January Fun

The days in January were filled with fun and cold.  We spent our time with the obvious school but also with so much time together.  

Early one morning the boys were outside waiting to walk to the bus and Toby ran inside and asked to use my phone to take a picture.  This is the picture he took, he wanted to show me the amazing sunrise.  

Double Digit Emmeric

Our Emmeric, our first born is 10 years old.  It is so hard to believe.  He is an amazing kid, he is creative and energetic, smart and loving.  He can also be trying and difficult but we wouldn't be us without him.  

We know God has big plans for you, we know that you're bound for something amazing.  We can't wait to see what the future holds for you.  We love you Emmeric, exactly as you are.

Late Start

A late start from school requires cocoa and ginger thins.  It is so cold outside!

Assembly required

After the holidays the kids and adults get the fun of assembly and figuring out all their new toys and gadgets.  They have had fun the last week putting together things and playing with their new toys.  

Pavelec Christmas

Sunday afternoon we headed over to Grandma & Grandpa Pavelec for Christmas and to ring in the new year.  The kids had fun taking turns opening gifts and passing them out.  They watched movies, ate so much food, assembled, played games and just had fun.  It was great to be together warm and snuggly in the house!

Schmitz Christmas

Saturday we had the Schmitz Christmas.  It was a lot of fun full of 11 kids opening presents, lots of nerf flights, building, puzzling, so much food and just family time.  The kids love to get together with their cousins, it was a great day!
