Carving Pumpkins 2014

When you ride on the pumpkin train you get to take a pumpkin home. We ended up carving 10 pumpkins this afternoon.  Luckily they were easy to scrap and the kids weren't picky with what they looked like.  It was fun to do and they are cute.  

 Dad cut the tops, Bart and I scraped.

Pumpkin Train

Today the Schmitz side met in Boone Iowa to ride the pumpkin train.  We boarded at 9:30 and pulled out of the station at 10 AM.  It was a beautiful day and everyone had fun together.  After we even enjoyed lunch at Hickory Park in Ames.  

 These two were pretty excited.  

 We rode in the open air car for most of the ride.  It was a beautiful day and a fun ride.
