Joanna's Birthday

We had Joanna's birthday in Waterloo at the Cedar Valley Arboretum.  We were in town for a family wedding and with all the kids coming it was the perfect place and a beautiful day.  Thanks to Godmother Ashley for taking the pictures for us!

Center Grove Orchard

No School today equals doing something fun.  We grabbed one set of grandparents and headed to Center Grove Orchard about 30 minutes from us.  It was a lot of fun with lots of stuff to do, animals, corn mazes, hay rides, jumping pillows, big slides, hay mazes, spider webs, Apple cider donuts and so  much more.  All the kids and adults had lots of fun!

Renaissance Faire

Saturday we went to the Renaissance Faire.  The boys have been hearing the cheers for the last 2 weeks and have begged us to go, so we did.  It didn't disappoint, the boys ran around getting clues to earn "treasure" we saw a jousting match, a mermaid, and lots more.  It was fun for everyone.

 Uncle Stinky made all kids either a "lollipop" or "magic wand" out of metal.  Really cool and he's from Waterloo.

Joanna is 1

One year ago we welcomed a beautiful daughter into our life and family.  She is sweet, funny and cuddly.  She loves her brothers and Daddy like crazy.  She can sip tea or drive monster trucks.  She likes to be pulled in the wagon, swing and be carried around.  She loves to eat bananas, grapes and mum mums.  She can take a few steps but is a really fast crawler.  We can't imagine not seeing her smiling face each morning or her sweet voice each day.  We love you so much Joanna and know that God has big plans for you!

Drive-In 2014

Last night we finally made it to the Drive-In.  We saw Planes: Fire & Rescue.  We had fun, eating picnic lunch, setting up our area and having family time.  The movie was good and the rain held off until we were on the way home.
